Hey Guys
thought i would add my 2 builds to the list

1st was a 01/07 white D4D 6 sp GX update with 150K on the clock that i had for 18mths
this is when i got it

this is how i built it up to

i had fitted Koni Raid shocks,ATMS wheel spacer, HID lights, a set of Alloy rims, + a second set of alloys, Pioneer rack, traxrax, black duck seat covers, hilux washer jets, the fourby fitout & engel fridge
i took most of it off to fit the the 2nd one i picked up
this one is a 12/08 Dune D4D 6 sp GXL update that i picked up with some panel damage but only 64K on the clock

all fixed


things i have already done
transferred all things i wanted from the white car to the gold car
fourby fitout & fridge
pioneer rack & traxrax's
2 x pairs maxtrax's
Black duck seat covers ( which i need to change for the airbag version )
front diff breather
fuel tank & rear diff breather in the fuel cap area
still need to do the g/box breather !
LED lights in all the doors, map & dome lights
ATMS rear wheel spacer
(will be adapted to carry exhaust jack when twin rear wheel carrier fitted)
Endless air Kit
Baja Designs HID spot lights
Hilux washer jets
1 x set 5 std alloy's with dunlop road tyres
1 x set 6 std alloy's with Hercules terra trac"s
USA King Racing Shocks with compression adjusters
2 x pairs Maxtrax's

brought some bling for the toy
i removed the bilstien suspension and fitted King Shocks




the front is adjustable, so i can raise it when i fit the winch
the shocks have adjusters on so i can make the suspension soft or harder depending on what we travelling on, and as the gas is separate to the oil they wont fade off

mine was missing the front bash plate
so went into see my mate at ARB and picked up a set from them

pulled the rear seats out


and fitted the fourby fitout & fridge

wired in the second battery in to the rear

brought another toy for the Prado


if your plug is the same as this they will plug straight in

some lights for the front


scan gauge 2

fitted some volt meters, not sure if they are accurate as they show .2v less than my scan gauge

picked up this endless air kit from someone selling off all their goodies awhile back
just received the alloy tank last week, ( the endless air tank wouldn't fit with my rear towbar)

all the fittings should be here later this week
than i can finish that off

picked up a multi function display








this tab is hard to get to when separating the top off the stereo unit


and there are screws here that have to come out






tested out the distance to empty, got down to 6km to go, filled up and put 185.7L in !!!!






added a TPMS system, brought a 6 tyre monitor that can go up to 22 tyres and added 2 extra sensors
4 on the car , 2 on the spares , 2 on the camper or the boat

was bored the other week so got stuck in and made up the twin wheel carrier












now just need to get back to it to weld it up
still undecided if i am going to cut the side flares and go to the back of the wheel

did a trip over to NSW to pick up a camper & do the Snowy mountains on the way home
we were going to buy a complete campsite, had it all tee'd up & found a campomatic converter on the way which was only 5min out of our way to look at
we checked it out first, then went to see the complete campsite one and ended up buying the campomatic
this only takes less than 5min to put up for an overnight stop ( the other one was 25min minimum )

i hadnt done the suspension when we picked this up, it still had the Bilsteins on and we had all our tent gear as well up top with an extra spare etc

when we got home we set the whole thing up to see what was involved

Nice 120 looks like your doing a good job with it. Are the king shockers any good and who is the supplier is Australia, or did you get them from the US.

King shocks are the best racing shocks i have run them on my race car for 8 yrs , and just fitted new ones to the trophy truck
i got them from The Off Road Shop at Lewiston

Coming along very nicely Razorback.
Where did you get the Multi Function Display?? I've been checking around different wreckers and they either don't have one in stock or want to charge me a couple of hundred $$$'s.
