  • MY15 Toyota Prado

    Hey Guys,

Just joined as i have recently purchased a Brand New 2015 Prado GXL

From the dealer i had purchased
ARB Bullbar (yet to be fitted as was on backorder and just wanted the car so to be fitted when it arrives)
Safari Snorkel (Yet to be fitted, will just be done at same time as Bullbar)
    Toyota Towbar
    Bonnet Protector
    Street Legal Tint

Im not new to 4x4ing, I have been doing it all my life, have changed sides from nissan to toyota as my previous 4x4 was a GQ patrol that was pretty modified, attached a pic below. However have had a few company cars in between and decide to ditch the company car for a car allowance and am loving the prado

    Let the modifications begin.

Welcome mate, there are very few better looking rigs on the road than a White GXL Prado.

The exception being White GXL's with ARB bars, snorkels, lift and tyres.

    Let the spending begin...
    Cheers
    Micheal.

Very nice. Are you planning a lift? The nose will drop a bit with the bar on it. Welcome to PP.

Yes, A lift is definitely on the wish list, Just want a 2in and will probably need to put airbags in the rear for when i tow the van. Just wanted to sort out a few other accessories as i also wish to install some drifta draws and want to work out weights before i go with suspension to ensure i get the correct rate springs. Is booked in at ARB on Monday morning for the Bullbar and Snorkel, Than i will be able to install the spotlights, UHF, and brake controller. Also my dual battery system just arrived today so hopefully i will be installing that over the weekend. I used to love the real rough stuff with my patrol, (and still do) but will be setting this up as more of a tough tourer now i have two little ones.
