Hi Ian looks good mate, what is the height of the rhino rack from the roof to the top of the rail? I was tossing up between the tradie and the pioneer platform and just wondering if would have height issues with the garage door and underground car parks etc.

Measured at base of front bracket 230mm rear bracket 200 to top of side rail.
Fitted ok in garage with standard suspension but might be a problem when I get home as its 2 - 3 inches higher now

Looks good mate, what sort of $$$ are you looking at for that setup? I bottomed out a lot on Moreton Island so am thinking about a lift.

                Does this affect KDSS?

Around $1350 now i think it is fitted. I had mine done because of the KDSS suspension

Haven't noticed any difference to the operation of the KDSS. It is a little firmer, new springs are medium duty. The springs are different left to right sides to counter the KDSS setup. Once it was finished it was more level than prior to the change.

No, the kdss will work fine.
All kdss is s a bigger, thinker anti-roll bar, which releases hydraulic pressure when offroad is sensed & the suspension needs to flex.
So tight on road without being tight offroad, although drivers side at the rear is limited by the fixed end of the bar.

Hi Ian, just wondering if you had any dramas with the fog lights not working in your bullbar after fitting? I just had a bar put on mine and both fog lights arnt working. The other problem is that the sensors seem to be a loose fit and starting to fall out. any help would be appreciated. cheers

As Ian is on holidays I thought I would jump in. The sensor holes have to be drilled by the fitter, so that problem is solely the fitting workshops. The fog lights use the factory loom, all that has to be done is put the preterminated wires on the fogs into the plug supplied that plugs into the factory loom. Once again, fitting workshops problem. My best suggestion would be to take it back to whoever fitted the bar.

Thanks Andy, I thought the fog lights might be that simple but somehow they managed to make em not work. And regarding the sensors, only 1 is loose so I wonder if they broke a clip or something that holds them in. Anyway I will take it back Saturday to get it fixed hopefully. cheers mate. By the way Ian your prado looks sweet.
