        Looking great dmx.

Just looking at your car reminds me of what someone told me recently.

With the Rhino platforms, there are a few choices depending on the length of platform you want. The platforms that are longer than the roof rails themselves, come forward towards the windscreen more, and interfere with the airflow over the roof more, and thus make quite a bit of wind noise when unloaded and driving around. I might have been tempted to get a longer pioneer platform until I was told that. Your platform looks like its the 1528mm long version, (which is 400mm shorter and 600mm shorter than two other versions available). Yours should be spot on I believe, and its the version I think I will get. Let us know your thoughts on your Pioneer platform please DMX

        Enjoy

Yes Brogers, I installed the short version, 1528mm in length platform.
I actually booked ARB roofrack and cancelled it later, thought I will need a lighter and easy detachable roof rack, so went to Rhino rack, the 1928mm version looks cool in the showroom but considered its load rating, the car roofrail load rating and platform weight, finally I picked the smallest one, which suit awning, shovel, recovery plates on sides, a spare wheel and a 4kg gas bottle on top.
It does generate some wind noise when reach around 70km/h, but when windows up, which I normally do at that speed, it is not noticeable.
I fit the platform by myself, easy to put on or remove.
          Hope this info helps.

Not sure how others installed the Piranha dual battery tray, I just found air con bracket will come contact with side of the tray - I guess the new bracket is bit of short, so I have to trim the tray a little bit.Click image for larger version

Hey mate, are those the two fuse holders on that bracket? If so they should be mounted as close to the batteries as possible, they are to protect the wiring and prevent an electrical fire if the wiring insulation rubs through on something. Otherwise, looking good, keep the pics coming

Thanks Andy to point this out!
Yes they are fuse holders, I will install fused battery connectors at battery, they are not arrived yet.

Battery and fridge done, but still need to find a way to secure the fridge, I will not remove the 3rd row seats, so no drawers will be installed.Click image for larger version

Are the tie-downs shown in the 2nd pic not sufficient to secure your fridge? I have a Waeco fridge slide for my fridge, makes it secure and easier to access.

Your false floor doesn't seem to go all the way under the fridge. Does that mean the feet are not sitting evenly across the floor?

Just did something to kill spare time after work.
Had two 10W LEDs installed as work lights and also assist reverse light. couldn't find better location at lower section of the vehicle, so put them up to roof rack.
Cable from roof rack through rear lights then jack cavity.
An ON-OFF dash switch (need to buy one labelled with work light) to control when more light required at reversing, an ON-OFF-ON switch to control the lights work on reverse or as work lights, or completely switch off.
