Well, Ive been trawling through the forum for almost 2 years stealing ideas and dreaming up my next mod and figured it was about time I started a build thread of my own.

    - Underbonnet mounted ARB compressor
    - Rhino rack pioneer
    - Rhino rack sunseeker II 2.5m awning with Led strip lighting
    - Rear fridge power/acc points
    - False floor in the cargo area with channel mounted securing system for the fridge and rear drawer setup/anything else that needs tying down.
    - Home made temporary drawer solution
    - Under bonnet acc fuse box powering all acc 12 items (rear fridge power, rear camp light, under awning lights ect.)
    - Dash mounted ipad mini with HEMA Explorer offorad maps app installed (mounted using rare earth magnets)
    - Black duck canvas seat covers front and rear
    - Sandgraber floor mats front and rear

Didn't take long before the car was home, in the garage and in pieces having the radio in stalled (mounted behind the trim in front of the centre console with the hand piece mounted on the silver trim next to the stereo.

Next up was the LED strip lighting under the awning, a rear LED work/camp light, rear acc ports and most importantly, the dual battery system to power it all. My brother had recently purchased a 200 series as well, so pretty much everything that was being done on my car, was being replicated on his, or vice versa.

Well after a few beach trips, which consisted of the prado dragging its guts down the beach as soon as there was even a slightly chopped out section to go through, it was pretty evident that Lift was required. A trip to ARB soon solved that problem and the car copped the standard OME 2 inch lift with constant 200kg load rated rear springs. Whilst I was in there, I bit the bullet and bought the ARB mounted compressor and air up kit, a set of maxtrax and the Kaymar Wheel on door spacer. The compressor was mounted on a steel bracket, which I bent up to fit in front of the firewall on the passenger side.

After that little birthday, it sat like this for a few weeks before decided it was time for some new shoes and an ARB deluxe colour coded bar with a set of Fyrlyt 5000 lumen spotlights. Now it was finally starting to look a little less “soccer mum”

You mentioned a 105AH battery. Is that under the bonnet in the usual spot? What tray do you have it in and what battery is it?

Not sure on exact figures but from memory, with the pioneer tray on, it sits at around the 2.2m mark roughly.

Yeah the battery is in the standard spot behind the drivers side headlight, Cant remember the brand of the tray nor the battery off the top of my head but the whole kit was purchased from battery world. The air-con pipe needed a little bit of massaging to get the tray into position.

be careful of that ac pipe. mine wore out on another little bracket and that little pipe costs a fortune to replace
