I thought it was about time I put my rig on here.....

    It is a 2010 150 GXL V6

Rear wheel cover removed in anticipation of some decent tyres...

Replaced interior lighting with some custom made LED Panels, now its daylight in the 150 at nighttime

    more to follow....

Some nice and comfy denim seat covers to protect the seats from the kids!
These are Gotya covered from Perth and fit really well.

    More to come....

I wanted some rear drawers to put tools and recovery gear into. I had no intention of carrying passengers back there...

My only issue was with the price of some of the systems on the market! So I purchased the Titan drawers to suit a 120 Prado with the intention of making them fit.

So far they have turned out really well I think.

Cover strip made from Masonite and covered with marine carpet.

Passenger side fill piece from the 120 kit, no modifications

Drivers side fill piece from the 120 kit, no mods

Drivers side removable wing - custom made from 9mm ply, marine carpet and fittings from the 120 kit

      Drivers side wing bottom side

      Drivers side wing top side

      Drivers side wing brackets
Needed to trim a little bit off of the middle bracket

Just need to make the non removable part now...

        Titan drawer install continued...
Passenger side removable wing - custom made from 9mm Ply, marine carpet and 120 kit fittings

        Underside of wing

Wing brackets from 120 kit - no mods required

Just need to finish off the non removable part of the wing on this side as well.

Some other things worth mentioning about this install.
The front most wing brackets will not fit, so I will need to custom make these to support the thin wings that will need to be made.
The drawers themselves need to have a bracket made for the front to mount the front seat mounts, and a spacer made up to pack up the rear to the same height as the front.
Not difficult to do and worth the effort I believe.

The latest addition is my Mk 2 Thumper, which I made up a divider for in the rear drawers, fits in nice and snug so that it doesn't move around.

This will do for now, but ultimately I would like to mount it on an amts bracket under the bonnet, so that all I need to do is plug in the hose and pump up the tires!

          Future mods include the following

Rear wheel spacer (ordered from amts)
Rear wheel telescopic light (backorder - amts)

New AT or MT Tyres, these cheap HT tyres are rubbish offroad I am thinking MT ATZ P3's or Bridgestone K02's does anyone know if 285's will fit?

          Lift Kit
          Rhino Platform rack
Awning (sitting in the shed awaiting the rack to mount it too!)
          Steel Bar
Power outlets in the rear for the fridge
CB Radio - Just need to find an install that Im happy with
larger screen for the reversing camera, has anyone done this already?

Hmm, Im sure there will be more....

              Thanks Mark.

Also have fitted two roadsafe brand tow points to the front. Only had to use them once so far, bogged up to the chassis rails just north of Guilderton!

Good job with the drawers Smarty! How much height do you have from the fridge slide side top and the roof lining? I've just ordered a set and hope my Waeco 65L is going to fit.

hi Fido666 its about 735mm from the top of the fridge slide to the lowest part of the door opening. Would be a pretty big fridge if it was taller than that!

Thanks Smarty I'm expecting the drawers themselves to turn up tomorrow or Monday, the wing kit arrived today. Surprising they sent the wings from VIC and the drawers from QLD but as long as they turn up it's all good.

I have a few questions regarding the drawer install if that's OK, namely :-

                      1) The cover strip you made out of Masonite, is that screwed down to something along the front edge?
                      2) What materials did you use to make up the bracket for the front seat mounts?
                      3) What materials did you use to make up the spacer for the rear seat mounts?
                      4) What did you have to do to make the mount points on the underside of the drawer unit work with 2 & 3?

I'm sure I will come up with more once I start stripping out the 3rd row seats, hope you don't mind me picking your brain.

                        Hi Fido666

no problems, 1. its screwed into the floor with screws. added excess carpet to it as well so that the carpet goes back into the drawers
                        2. front seat mount brackets were made out of 20x3mm flat bar
                        3. 19mm plywood
                        4. unbolted the rails and relocated them to the right spot. Basically I took the two bottom rails off, tops off of the drawers and drawers removed. Sit it all in place and mark it where it needs to go and then bolt it back together, its a bit of work but worth it imo.

OK thanks, sounds relatively straight forward. With no. 2 did you need to bend up a shape or just cut it and drill holes in it? What size bolts did you need to secure the brackets?
