ARB OME 30mm lift went in today. I went for the 30mm lift and not the 50mm so it will fit in my garage.
My cousin's a mechanic so we used his workshop and he talked me through the install. I figure it's worth learning in case I need to replace a shock in the bush one day. I'll keep the old ones as spares.
The front had sagged to 730 with the weight of the bar/battery/winch, so 20mm below stock. The back was at 780.
After the upgrade the front is sitting at 780 and the back at 820, so it's a 30mm lift in front (50 if you count the sag I had) and 40mm in the back.
I'm really happy with the ride, it's 100% better than the stock setup.

How did you end up mounting your fridge?
I use the 3rd row of seats often so I don't have the fridge mounted permanently. I have a steel framed shelf that slides into the back and ties to the tie down points. The fridge sits under that. The shelf slides out and converts to a cooking table when we're set up. I'll take some photos next time I have it out.

It's been a while since I've done anything to the prado, it's setup pretty well for my needs these days. There's a few things planned for a Simpson desert crossing this July though.
First was a fire extinguisher. I found an aerosol one that fits nicely in the door and doesn't require mounting permanently. It's smaller than the ones people usually mount next to the seat, but it'll be enough for this trip.
I'll also be picking up a canvas spare wheel bag for carrying rubbish and a couple of poly jerry cans to strap to the roof.
Last thing is to fix an annoying knock in the steering column - check out the video link to have a listen. I've been putting it off because the upper intermediate shaft where I think it's coming from is ~$400 to replace, but I don't fancy having it break half way across the Simpson, so it's time to bite the bullet and hope it fixes it.

I like that wheel bag. Does that just slip on over the tyre, i.e. no straps required? I guess that would be secure enough?
The BushRanger Wheelie Bin we use is fine, but the straps often come loose; the plastic buckles slip.
I'm in Adelaide too. I might have to check out Halls Canvas, thanks for the tip!

It has straps, they're just not visible in the photo. They use metal clips and I haven't had a problem with slipping so far.

My kings awning didn't survive some strong wind recently It thankfully stayed pegged down but the poles were all bent so I went looking for a replacement. I'll also be living out the car for quite a few weeks this year as we make a trip up to Fraser Island and another across the Simpson, so I wanted with a 270 degree awning to give shade at the back while cooking.
I settled on a 2.4m Drifta rapid wing. Definitely not cheap but the quality is great and it provides plenty of shade over the rear door, more than most other 270 awnings I've seen.
I've also added Kaon's rear door table so I have somewhere to prepare food for quick stops. It's another quality piece of gear.
