Those brackets for the bazooka are Rhino products mate to fit the 100mm pipe and I just bought a Grey enamel from bunnings and sprayed over the pipe after a gentle sanding mate.

With all the rain Perth has had over the last few weeks... My flinders red was looking baby shit brown... so the sun came out yesterday and she came up a treat in humble opinion.... Some recent shots pre-lift which will be in a couple of weeks time.

Tech day anyone! I need help to fit as I dont have the gear... hahah.. beers could be on me for sure if someone willing
That's not a bad price... Best of all is that if you have ANY issues what so ever with it, you can drive straight back into their workshop and get them to sort it! I'm a mechanic/fitter by trade and I paid a little extra to have our susp installed and I'm glad I did as I had a warranty concern and all the labour etc was all taken care of without me having to lift a finger... (different brand susp)

Shit Mumsrig, that would make 5 Lightforce across the front if I go down that line... And it would be black I think as it would go along the blacked out line that I am thinking of. Noice....... Might do the suspension and the new bar I think... so if anyone is looking for a snazzy Sovereign... keep your eyes posted..
Hey Golly, we got $1200 for our Sovereign Bar... Sold locally and I installed it for the new owner... Put it up on Gumtree and give it a nice hand polish first.

If you are looking at suspension and an XROX then DEFINATELY get on down and speak to Aaron at Coastal 4x4 in Jandakot and tell what you are looking at and the prices you can get them for and I'm sure he will look after you... If not, then OL is just around the corner in the Jandakot Industrial area... Literally 3x streets away...

Very good, thanks for that info matey, I will head down to Jandakot and hit Aaron up matey and see what he can do for me for sure.

          Cheers

Not at the moment, just getting back into the swing of things, trying to secure good employment with the impending reshuffle where I am at the moment haha.

Im back!!! hahahahah shit they all think....
But I have an issue that requires tissues.

I have a leaking water pump, ever so slightly, enough to foam up the coolant and leave a foam type spray on the timing belt cover.
Put it this way, the leak is very small but enough to make the area look like shite. I only top up the radiator about every 2 weeks or so.

No, I have priced the parts from Repco for a new waterpump all together and timing belt kit for the model for $587.00 total.
Is it a job for me to do ? I am tool savvy and confident but not at the same time. Automasters Cannington have quoted me $800 to do the job for both.

I have done 125k in the Flinders, is it worth doing both jobs or should I just do the waterpump ? Cheers all and good to be back.

                          Hi Golly,

My 2009 GXL just clocked up 100,527 klms when my water pump went. Toyota quoted $750 to replace. I was "lucky" as they replaced under warranty for $350. Even though my warranty had expired 1 year and 3 months ago.
Keen to see what it's costs others!

Mmmm I might call my local dealer and see what it will cost me to do the pump only.

From memory it cost us just under $750 to have our belt and pump done.
Our mechanic said we could have probably got away with letting the water pump go a bit longer (was only a dribble of a leak) if we weren't going anywhere major, but as we were about to head off for a Simpson crossing we got it done.
