    Black Prado Chick's Buildup

    Still in the showroom at Toyota, waiting for the number plates to be installed.....



    In the front yard the day after delivery.....





    The best accessory......."PRADO POINT STICKER"







    Installing the ARB Deluxe Winch Bar, 10,000LB Winch and 9 Inch Spot Lights at very late hours of the night......









    With the bullbar on but no lights on the bullbar.....



    Bullbar installed and up bush "testing it out" the following day.......





    Plenty more to come in the new year!!!

        Yup all good BPC! Gotta love how that black ARB bar looks on the black rig. Just proves your dedication to the cause you being up past your bedtime to put it on :lol: . Next up's gotta be an action shot.... although I can hardly talk.....

              It actually was really low and kept getting bent everytime we took it off road, so we have no undone the plug and turned it around so it sits up against the back bumper. In time we will remove it all together and make a plug like what some commodores have where the cord is stored inside the car until it needs to be used.

                Oh boy was that a mission to set up!! It was only me and my partner there installing the bullbar and we didnt have an engine jack so we had to make use of the carport roof. I cant believe it held up with all that weight hanging off it! :roll: :shock:

                  Oh boy (girl) you are brave..I have seen worse things happen then you try to use the carport beam for leverage..

                      I have this on my VS Clubsport (a tarted up Commodore) and wouldn't recommend it. The action of the car and trailer causes the cable to rub on the paintwork which can cause scratches (if it's dirty) or dull the paintwork. Might be different for different bumper profiles but I had it on a Subaru Outback as well and didn't like it on that vehicle either.

                        Yeah I had it on my old car (Mazda Tribute) I didnt find it a problem.
                        I dont think we will have an issue with it as we plan to install a steel rear bar before we convert it over anyway.
                        We might even think of something better between now and eventually installing the rear bar anyway.
