Yeah I'm thinking about the options there. Samo put me onto the idea of changing over the intermediate muffler to a high flow sports style muffler. Had a price for this from one place and they had two options, one for about $160 and the other for $190. Can't recall the difference between them now.

In terms of chips I want to go the DP Chip but the Chip It for the price sounds fantastic but then they say you get what you pay for and the CHip It is basically half the price. Just wish there was a descent comparison of the two.

      Build Evolution:
      Part 1 - July 06 - June 09
      Part 2 - July 09 - July 10
      Part 3 - August 10 - October 10
      Part 4 - November 10 - Onwards

      NOVEMBER 2010
Headed into everybodies favourite ARB location (Regency altough I've never had any dramas with the service of gear) to look at an awning. I had my heart set on having a custom built awning that would be 2500x4500 but wanted to get a few ideas set by looking at the ARB one. Had a very good look and was very impressed. So impressed that I purchased one but rather than the ARB one it's the Open Sky OS3008 and had a nice price of $290.00. Same manufacturer but I believe the Open Sky is slightly longer (2m vs 2.1m). Dropped into Roof Rack City and picked up a couple of galv ladder brackets for $17.00 each. Drilled a few holes in each and loaded it into the racks and it looks beaut.

      FUTURE ACTIVITY AND EQUIPMENT
      • Additional Power to Rear. Delayed until I really need them.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]
      • Brown Davis Armour. That will reduce the damage that knocks and bumps underneath may cause.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]
      • DP 34. The old 1KZ-TE diesel is a little lacking in power so need to throw a little more it's way.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]
      • Dumppipe and Exhaust Upgrade. I'll be breathing better in so why not out <-- maybe but will spend on other more essential items first and would go a chip ahead of exhaust.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]
      • Camper Trailer. Two chunky wheels, some steel and canvas, splash on some galv and a bit of power back there.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]
      • Rear Diff Locker. Gotta get me one of these babies at the rear. Had too many times when a tyre from both axles has lost contact and all momentum ceases. Not a nice time then.[/*:m:dqvpu02x]

Nice pickup mate, must be something in the water in our neck of the woohs hahaha, did you still have clearance under the roller door? If you need some LED strip light I have a 5 meter roll, when I used mine it was VERY bright under there. As for the lockers, NIKE just do it.

Lost the clearance battle ages ago. I't a real bugger since if I go to use the alloy tray I have to reverse the car out before putting it on. Same with the awning, the shoverl holders, etc...

ARB had a small LED stip on display in their awning. I don't recall it being on or if it was it wasn't very bright. Might think about this still and speak to you about it on Saturday.

From memore the ARB ones were about $50-60 per meter, have a look at my buildup, there are a couple of pisc with them switched on, the sunlight does them no justice.

              Re: Schaffers 06 GXL Buildup

Judging by the weather reports i've heard - might be needing that awning for the Goolwa trip this weekend!!!!
Of course if the wind is up???

EDIT: The wind wasn't up, and the awning looks excellent... Certainly did the trick with the little ones playing in the sand underneath!!!
