Hi,
Noticed it when it was new, but not anymore. Occasionally put a couple of milton tablets (used for sterilizing babies bottles) in it and let it sit for a while just to keep it clean. Works well. It is tucked away pretty well and sits higher than the fuel tank etc. Tap is pretty unnoticable from outside the car, stands out a bit on mine due the the hose connection on it. Haven't had anyone drop the water on us. I find the water is pretty hot from the tank sometimes, but outside temp is mid forties so not much you can do.

Just an update, Fitted new set of Dueler 694's, seem a lot quieter than 697's. Installed rear camera hooked up too Hema Navigator HN6, works very nicely. New rear recovery hitch (mounts in towbar) and a set of maxtrax.

Millay did u fit 697 or 694 as the 697 is the latest??

Sorry, 697's, thanks Hutch. As mentioned, seem quieter, tried out on one of the local hillclimbs here yesterday, pretty grippy. Wouldn't mind some good sliders though for some better protection.

Nice rig. What reverse camera did you use? I have the Hema Hn5i. Do you have any pics of the install and camera view/ quality?

The camera was an ebay item form OZchoice, it has the 2.5mm AV plug. I will get some photo's on my next lot of days off. It is mounted on the back of the roofrack similar to reverse light. Cables run through rack tube and down front windscreen trim. I got a reverse camera switch the same as the ARB locker switches to switch camera on and off, i haven't bothered to hook up through reverse gear as the GPS is not always in the car. I really just wanted it to keep an eye on the camper and boat. Unfortunately I can not see the rear tow hitch, so not much help when hooking up camper. I will be heading up there in April to do a trip out to the Buccaneer Archipelago out of Derby for a week on a mate from Broomes boat, can't wait.
