Thaught i make an post about my Arctic Truck, not an every day see in ur place, so hopefully it would be accepted here.

Starting with the pickup of my new car in Tromsų (Norway)




Information about the car:

Model: 2008 Land Cruiser 120
Engine: 1KD-FTV Turbo Diesel (3.0L)
Transmisjon: 5speed Automatic.
Tires: 37x13.5R17 Dick Cepeck DC FC2
Wheels: 17x10" Arctic Truck
Suspension: 40mm Body lift
60mm Suspension lift
Gear ratio: 4:88/1

Accesories:
Movable wich (front & rear)
Reenforced hilift points around the car
2x ViAir on board air kit.
And much more.

As you can se from these top 2 pictures, the exhaust was "left behind" when the body was lifted, because it's attached to the frame.






So, we had to re-route it a little bit, and it ended up like this.

Looks awesome!

Other photos I've seen of Arctic Trucks in production have been taken in a fancy Arctic Truck production facility. This one looks more like a standard repair shop. How does that work, is it a conversion kit?

Any photos of it in snow?

Absolutely incredible - Toyota Australia - take note!!!!

So you can buy these baby's straight off the shop floor???

Apart from the obvious bits, I actually like the rear door. Probably compromises the fuel capacity though...

This truck i buildt by Arctic Trucks Norway.

And i have not taken any photos in the snow yet. Have been little snow in North-Norway so far this winter.
Hopefully i can take som before the winter is over.

Yeah, these cars can you buy from our lokal dealers.
The company (Arctic Trucks) delivers cars to other contries to, but it has to be legal in your contry, before they can build one for you.

The costs of my rebuild (37/13,5) and accessories is: 22 700 Euros
A standard rebuild, on 35/12,5 Wheels: 16800 Euros
A standard rebuild, on 37/12,5 Wheels: 14700 Euros

You see, a car from them is delivered on 12,5" wide tires. My is now on 13,5" wide tires.
I have put these on after the delivery. Because the 12,5" tires is the biggest they can put on legaly.
All the cars keep the toyota guarantees, and are road legal after an inspection at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
You then get a new car license that has the new spesifications of the car.
