i also chucked the standard Osram globes for some Philips plus 80's. i couldn't get a hold of any narva ones to use.

with the back cut off, i just cleaned up the inner edge with a file, and squared it off again with (wait for it) the multi tool.
make sure if you are doing this, not to take too much off. this will affect how the narva foggy fits later on.
pics with the original ARB fog light lense. you can see how not sealed they are.

then i put the narva foggy into the arb housing
the narva foggy didn't sit quite square, so i took a bit off the raised bits on the inside.
if you're doing this mod, don't make it flush. just enough for a snug fit.
then the twist lock cap pulls it altogether tight.

so, if you take too much off the housing when you cut the back off, the narva light is too loose and WILL rotate.
now, with the narva foggy in, and the twist lock cap test fitting good, you need to refit the innards as it sits.
it just so happens the diameter of the rear of the ARB housing when cut, is almost identical to the Narva twist lock cap. sik.SIK-120

so the end result is this.
the lights look and sit in exactly the same spot, and to the untrained eye, will look no different. i now have some descent water tight foggies, still have the ability to adjust the light up and down, and i can change the globes very easily.
now let see how long these last.SIK-120

i originally hacked the ARB housing up to allow for the Narva mounts to protrude through, but this made the ARB housing too flimsy. so i decided to cut the mounts off the Narva foggies instead.
this is pretty much the end result.
the cap pulls everything tight, the Narva doesn't rotate easily, and the light is now well sealed.Last edited by 8608; 28-12-2012, 11:03 PM.SIK-120

some more stuff to add.
i finally got a chance to fit the sand grabber under seat protector during the annual spring clean. even though the MSA seat covers protect the seats, there's nothing protecting the carpet underneath from drink spills.
so pics of what i'm talking about. the side steps need to be taken out pretty much to get the clips under. i tried with out removing them, but no go.
