nice Rig you got there its still all shiny ... but for how long
The lists can go on forever I've had a few years and still haven't got
closer to finish.

Howdy all

Well first the questions:
GDS: its a read door table like many others have fitted before. I just made it out of aluminium extruded section vs. ply/mdf.
Daz: The ocean is at Guilderton beach, we have a holiday home up there. Makes for a nice weekend away as its only an hour from Perth.

Anyway onto more interesting stuff.

Snorkel is in and operational...and might I say an absolute pr%&k of a job. Firstly the template Safari supply is not correct and when I phoned tehm they didn't want to know about it. So be careful if you attempt it as you will have to modify it somewhat. Also, getting the nuts into places requires the hands of a child...so if you don't have one I'd seek to procure one prior to starting.

Yes that top nut is a prick to get on( tip silicone on washer saves having to hold it at the same time and do it first so you can pull the snorkel out as far as possible to give the most room). Template doesn't seem to be out much think they 16mm holes or something to that nature. They are just nervous things to install when you don't do them regularly.

Question: The rubber mat you have in your cargo area; is it original or aftermarket? If it's aftermarket, any details available?

Have not seen them over here in SE Asia, but I get down to Oz frequently enough to possibly pick one up...

It's a Toyota mat, came with the full rubber mat set when I bought the car.

Well I managed to get only a few things done this weekend due to stuffing my back.

Finished the snorkel and managed to install the rear table and cargo net.

Bilsteins and Lovells go in tomorrow...I think this has been the most exciting mod so far!

1.5hrs till I pick it up...woohoo!

Well...Bilsteins, Lovells and polyairs are in.

Parts list was:
Bilstein front shocks: BE5.A712
Bilstein rear shocks: BE5.A713
Lovells front coils: TFR.118
Lovells rear coils: TRR.119
Ployair kit: 12995

Heights before:
- Front 750mm
- Rear 775mm

Heights after:
- Front 785mm
- Rear 810mm


It was dark when I got home, hence no pics etc. I will post pics and measurements when it's light.

Fitted the rear cargo area out on the weekend. I made a false floor to bolt the fridge slide to and also fitted some extra tie down points.





I've also fitter the bullbar, spotties, CB and rear water tank.













More mod's to come...
