Welcome to Pradopoint fatz (Pete), sweet model and it looks fairly unmodified at this point. I'm sure Pradopoint can fix that

Re: hi new member first time prado owner

                righto

so after my $2100 ARB experience (bull bar installed) i picked up a 4wd action magazine as it had a nice Prado (build up) article

Anyway on the second page they have a Ironman deal which includes protector bull bar + 9500 LB winch and driving lights for $2199 + delivery (99) + fitting (I can do this… surly it cant be too hard!)

see pick below. Personally i think it looks just as good as the ARB bar

Anyway anyone have this on there 120 series?
Any comments on build quality, is it crap, ect?
Anyone know a mate of a mate who can get it cheaper?

Yep, joey has an inspiring rig, I guess he would hate to add it all up one day, probably trebled the value of the car.

BTW, How do you treble the value of a Pajero?

Re: hi new member first time prado owner

After just reading all the blog for the last few years, thought I would finally join and hopefully put something back to what I have taken.
In my only other entry I have advised I just got my new 2009 D4D 2 weeks ago, was hanging for the 150 but the price started to scare me.
Saying that I'm wrapped with the new beast. It is scary prying apart the dash on a new car but searching the forum for the things you guys have already done has certainly made it easier, thankyou. Cheers dave.

                            Re: fatz new 2003 grande

well it took 7 months of putting around saying i wont spend money on it

                            untill i took it offroad

anyway destroyed the front bar just looking at a hill ( fornt angle has alot to be desired!)

so fronted up the cash for the bull bar

heavy bugger but should make those tracks less expensive

crap pick but you get the idea

makes it abit more manly as well

It looks better now and also keeps the engine bay clean when driving through mud puddles.
