Well been a bit busy with holidays etc. Travelled with the family from Darwin to the Gibb River, Down to Perth, across to Ceduna, cut up through to the Stuart Hwy near Coober Pedy, via Ayres Rock then home. 5 weeks and 11000kms.
Prior to the trip I got my bonnet scoop installed http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post484165
I also installed my Sensa Tyre TPMS ,
I got my lockers installed just need to do that mod so it lights up on the dash, and
I installed a pioneer unit with a reverse camera.
Cheers.

Got the scoop today and I ordered the wrong one (Old style). Instead of sending it back I will list it for sale on here first followed by Ebay and order the correct one...

Fridge install
Well I finally got a fridge and installed it today, see the following link:
http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post448580
Just need to get another in a few months and make up a shelf to go on top of the fridges. Also plan on doing some more work on the camper for the next few days replacing all the door rubbers etc to get it registered.Last edited by winniliss; 05-01-2014, 09:58 AM.

Yes I am going to get a stone guard made up. Thats what the two up-right poles (posts) in front of the gas bottle holders are. It will be secured to the front storage box that can be undone when the spare tyre is needed. I have been trying to spray paint the rest of the trailer but I have to time it for humidity below 80%, minimal wind (as it's in my driveway) and no rain.

Daytime running light install
Hello all. Normally I drive with my low beam lights on to improve visibility. However this draws too much power which could be better used to charge my auxiliary battery/s. LED lights have a more Chrisp / clear output of light and draw less power.
I wanted to purchase a round LED daytime running light with a 100mm diameter so that I could mount them on my ARB deluxe bar as I don’t have fog lights. I couldn’t locate any and so I had my eye on these, they are at the bottom of the page- part number 84DTRM:
http://www.ledautolamps.com/Publicat...tml#/78/zoomed
Repco is the re-seller and cost $225 including over-night postage. They come with a 5 year warranty and the construction is good. They comply with ADR rules 13/00 & 76/00. They have one earth (brown wire) and two positive wires, one for when you turn the IGN on (black wire) and a grey wire that connects to your low beam. So when the IGN is on, so are the lights. When you turn your low beam on they turn off.
I have used double sided black mounting foam that appears to hold up well with vibration and heat. The lights come with mounting brackets but I think this was a better solution so far. Time will tell but at the end of the day I like it.

If putting a fridge in a camper just be aware that it can get Very hot in trailer, unlike the air conditioned car.
Cheers Andrew
