Well lads this is my first post here so hi to all
. I recently decided to sell my 4.2TD patrol (With some encouragement from the wife who hated driving the "tank" as she called it) so I have now become the proud new owner of the 2006 D4D Manual. I'm in the Cairns area and I know of a few prado owners on here already so I look forward to coming out on some trips to see just how capable these prados are :P Had the car for two days now and I got to say its a pleasure to drive and the standard power is pretty impressive also. Mods to happen straight away will be:
1. Two new all terrains as it only came with all terrains on the front and h/way terrains on the rear. Will eventually get coopers or mickey T's when they wear down.
2. Move the uhf from the patrol to the prado
3. Snorkel
4. Bash plates
5. lift
6. some sort of EASILY REMOVABLE roof rack (Again the wife)
Then I will try and cut down my outback draws from the patrol to fit in the prado, DP chip, exhaust and front and back lockers when I recoup some funds. Please feel free to offer advice and so on as I have not yet decide what brand snorkel or bash plate to get.
Cheers
Dan
