        My New Duel Battery System

The 1st photo is the 600cca battery, on the left is the 12v solenoid to bring it in.
2nd on is that good looking solenoid again.
3rd I have run the main power cable and secured it to the factory mount holes on the cowling.
4th I found a power outlet that had power on ignition and crank only, ran a wire from there to the solenoid.
When the key is on accessories or key off there is no power to solenoid so the 2nd battery is isolated.
ALL accessories are run off the factory battery so if anything happens and my main battery goes flat then I will ALWAYS have a jump battery.
The reason I have done it this way is if I had the aux battery running the accessories and one of the rug rats left the internal lights on, there is a potential for me to end up with 2 dead batteries. This way it CANT happen

          Hi Dippa,
Nice clean install there! You may already have this covered but it might be wise to protect the +12V terminals incase of shorts etc..

            Re: Dippa's 09 GX

Thanks for that Switched, Have got them just forgot to fit for Photos.
Must say, the system works a treat, the fridge stays pretty much plugged in all the time and with a flood light that I fit on the roof for camping and she starts like beauty.

In the process of setting up an Air supply ( not the band), will post photos soon.
