    UHF for convoy communications.

    Some Lambies for comfort.

Recovery Hook, TJM rear wheel cover and signage and the all important PP sticker.

Milford Cargo net, easy to get in and out in two minutes, stops the kid getting anything in the back of the head.

Dual Battery set up to run Waeco 50l fridge.

OME 2 inch lift, 883 front and 895 rear springs and Nitro sport shocks.
Other Mods, Hilux jets, OI front recovery Hooks, Radiator bash plate, Toyota cross bars, Electronic rust proof.

I got working over the weekend and which was inspired by the ARRIVAL OF MY NEW LIGHTS, Got rid of these peices of cr#p.

Fitted up these little blue numbers. Narva 225 Ultima's.

Then on sunday i started building my fridge box.

Before too long i had a box capable of holding a 5yo, my trusty assistant.

Got some carpet to put on it.

By that afternoon i had something that looked like a fridge box, i am not geting any awards for carpet covering though.

Next morning cold drinks easily accessable.

New Rubber LT265/65/17 Bridgestone 694's, quite comfortable and Light truck construction.

Snorkle fitted on the 25/8/10, TJM Airtec.

New number plates. "2 4 Wheel Drive"

Finally put my spare shovel holders on my sportz rails, also i hate the little plastic thingies that are supposed to hold the shovel so pulled them out and drill two 1.5mm deep holes in the shovel handle and now the screws hold the shovel without the plastic crappy tabs. Minor mod but effective for me, now i don't have to put on the big rhino rack for a day trip with the shovel and maxtrax's.

Never had a decent light so i got a Narva Led light with the 4WD Action subscription update, easiest mod ever, clip to cargo barrier and plug in to power socket, Done!!!

Great stuff. It is always good seeing another rig build up. Problem is it makes me envious with some of the mods and accessories some members have fitted. Of well off to water the money tree.

        Hey Hutch.

Nice looking truck mate. Have you had a chance to get it offroad since the lift? If so how did it go? I haven't had time to get out yet, had family staying and all the rest.

              Hutch,

Where did you mount the battery isolator and how did you mount it?

Rumble, i have just updated the thread with another photo, it is on the other side next to the main battery. little silver cylinder, don't know what brand it is mine was all done by the local auto leccy i know through some friends. The battery is mounted on a piranha tray, solid as. It all works well, i also have button in the cab that i can push and it will push more charge to the Aux battery if we have been parked for a long time draining the battery and we don't have far to travel until the next stop, however i rarely use it.

                  Thanks HUTCH,

How did they mount the isolator to the engine bay wall? Is it with self tappers / nut and bolt?

I need to do the same with mine.

                  It's looking good.

I'm sorry to make you get up twice. Reward yourself with a beer.

Thanks for the info. I wonder how rivets would go.

Thanks, Joey, if my wife was as understanding as yours their would be a lot more, dollars are less of an issue, more about convincing her that we need this and it will do that and the benefit will be??.

Looks great Hutch. Give me some good ideas. Unlike you, my missus wants me to spend money with the mods. Unfortunately I am the one that makes that money she wants to spend. Would prefer less work, less mods and more driving. Can't wait to see it progress. Well done.
