      • I miss being able to do fabricate what ever I liked when I was on my parents farm. Bit too far to travel to do it now and I don't have a nice shed to do it in...But I can still do carpentry.

        Nice work AJ...

        • AJ120 Rear Bar

Getting close, just need some pinch weld to tidy up the body work. I have a new slimline number plate coming to be centrally mounted and cover the 4 holes in the middle of the bar. Also need to mount the trailer plug, I have ordered a flat style plug rather than the large round that is common here in SA.

Mud flaps were a rush job before testing it out on the weekend so will tidy them up as well.

Still have to make a single jerry can holder that will be what I normally run on the LHS

Rear bar thread also updated with these pics.

          Cheers Andrew

          • Certainly is the neatest rear wheel carrier I've seen.
Not been a big fan of them until now. Well done Andrew

What will you do about the door handle and current numberplate shroud? Looks good though!

                • It looks even better in real life. One top job you have done there. Thank you for today.

                  • Fantasic Andrew. I think it just needs something like a thin rubber edge on the plastic bar cut just above the bar.

                    Cheers

Nothing at all, they wont interfere with the Jerry can holder or a second spare if I decide to run 2 spares at anytime.

Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone else.

                        Cheers Andrew

Fair enough, have read of some designs where the shroud had to be removed.

                          • Having seen this piece of art 'in action' over the weekend I am also a big fan - looks goods and performed well too!

I was wondering though about that small ding on the rear door, you know the one, right in the middle where the spare used to sit...
At last someone has a mark on their rear door that WASNT caused by me!
                            Cheers
