    Hello,

    We have recently bought a 2000 Grande, after looking at alot of different models and brands, for less than 20k there is nothing else as good as these things :-) the ride height, tanks, fuel Econ and on/off road performance is excellent; did the fire trail from just past Wheeny Creek to Bilpin with ease, uphill with some rain and no selection of low range...

    The build;

    starting with power, the electrical kind;

    have yellow top Optima and Stinger Expert cap and miles of various gauge and bits.. That'll go right rear after rear seat row goes out. A dual batt system and upgraded front terminals/cabling as well.

    Then a stereo;

    standard deck/stacker/speakers/wiring removed.

    I'm attempting dash/a pillar pods for a 4" 1&1/2" and 3/4".. Hard but initial sound testing indicates this will work. Lower front doors will get an 8 and 4 each. All active, one of the 407's will be bridged to run twin mono 4ohm for the 8"s.

    Sub box is done, came from previous car (vale my falcon but can't go off road...) so that goes where back folding seat passengers' feat once did. On and around it go the processor rack and amp rack.

    Rear stage is a set of 4" co-ax 2 ways off a 4 ch amp and active, and more 8's, either 2 or hopefully 3 in a line.

    Once it's all in and set it'll be trimed.

    Then I'll look at the off road stuff :-)

    no pix yet; iPhones aren't that good yet or I need to read the manual...

      Sounds like you've got some killer plans for the stereo there!

      Chuck some pics up, always good to see another 90 series here!

        :-)

        sometime this week, I might be able to prize the laptop off the wife ... Or if anyone knows how to do it from an iPhone then that would be awesome.

        Kind regards
