where i'm at
now that I've got me rocker switches, the next part i need is a nice black electronic, box for under the bonnet, to house all my relay's and gizmo's... something about 50mm deep, 230 long, and bout the same wide would be nice .....
another thing i sorted out , was the ideal "kill switch" for the rig , have to buy 10 of them but , they will come in handy,..

Check out an electronics store like Jaycar or Radio Parts (not sure if you have those 2 in NSW), they usually sell plastic boxes for DIY electronics projects.Comment

High beam . Rockers
I used the positive .. high beam wire to the left headlight, soldered a double female connector into it.
Then run that feed to energise the relay... Ran the power from the battery thro a fuse, thro the relay, then into the cab , into the rocker switch.
Back thro the engine bay to the hid spreads...
The H.I.D's will only work with the rocker in the on position, and the high beam activated on the stalk... Road legal....
Will set up the centre spot the same ... All lights wires/earths have dis-connection points on the bar for when the lights or the bar gets removed...
The dash light pickup was easy from the cigarette socket to light up the rockers. (Red) and when on , a green light illuminates on the rocker as well as the red...
The centre spot will be disconnected on the bar until I require it. ( making it legal ) and easy as popping the hood and plugging it in , ( making it illegal ) when away and on the open road... Still got some work to go but making good progress here.... Round two, HID's and wiring
after further input , I have been advised to rewire the spreads so that i am switching the relay not the power to the lights...
