BIll, i love it.. great mods, keep the photos coming - if there is anything else you do to it anyway!!

could you tell me how you mounted the iphone cradle? does it mount directly to the dash, or, through the side panel of the centre dash section?

    thanks

Is it a drop down or simply a slide out?
Can you say the cost of just the Drawer system please? I went to Cape York in June and have no draws so put fridge on GX floor and tied to 1 point forward and 1 point back, held tight all the way and fridge easily accessible and I am 6'3" tall.
Can you say the extra benefit of the diesel chip so far too
        Thanks

        G'day leighland,

no the fridge slide is not in the pics - i leave it out cause i only use the fridge on weekend trips etc... and they are pretty chunky and not very attractive with such a nice drawer system.... it is an engel slide out system and ORS who made the drawers installed it for me with the 6 bolts it requires - so very easy to take in and out. i have it mounted on the left hand rear just so you dont have to have the rear door fully open to slide it out...

the drawer system was $1950 installed - and i cannot fault them - very professionally made - full aluminium boxes and metal runners!

The Steinbauer chip has definately made a big difference! i had the DP Chip on my hilux previously and it was great as well - however the Prado already has a bit more punch than the hilux, and im sure that Toyota has done this by increasing the fuel pressure in the common rail - and that is what the DP Chip did as far as i know? So i figured i would rather use the Steinbauer that works on injector timing and is connected to the TPS (throttle position sensor). i also have the chip on a switch to turn it on and off - just for the fun of it - and let me tell you pulling skid steer round on its trailer is made easy with the chip on!!!

        hope this helps?

        Cheers Bill

Thanks Keithy - they are like twins! Still plenty of people out there that still like the 120 far more - but someone had to attack the 150, i figured i may as well take the plunge! hahah

Nice work Bill, I will basically try to recreate what you have, once mine gets delivered. White does look very schmick.
One question, by replacing the small screen with a large sat nav, did you lose the trip computer info that would normally get displayed?

                    Hi Al,

yes you lose that screen - but all that info that it displays (trip, fuel econ, outside temp etc...) is all in the main dash cluster display between the spedo and tacho.... so you don't lose that info - i like all that stuff and wouldn't have done it otherwise...

                    hope that helps

                    cheers

What is in the factory CD/radio hole?
Is it a holder out of 150 GX Prado?

No it's not out of the GX, it's actually all one kit that you buy for the replacement of the factory stereo. It comes with that pocket and a facia for the top to suit a double din stereo system..
