Well I have been a member of PP for sometime now and haven't done a build up yet! Pretty slack really.
2003 120 GXL - 1kz-te engine.
I bought it last year with 160K on the clock. My thoughts is it's nicely run in for a diesel
When I bought it she was pretty stock, well actually completely stock! it was used for towing a boat apparently! Probably an ex miner at some point in time. But I checked it over a lot and it ran/ runs beautifully!
Since than;
First was a Tracklander roof rack for a roof top tent (which I bought later on). Set of Narva Ultima 225's on the factory alloy bar and a GME TX 3100. All thanks to the guys at Roof rack City in Ozzy Park.

After a trip out to the local water hole Kalgan’s Pool and two puncture later on the stock boots time for an upgrade. So on went the BFG A/T 265/70/R17’s. Worth their weight in gold!!

After a trip to Perth came back with ARB battery tray, all the necessary bits to fit the National Luna solenoid and controller. This is where the DIY bug hit.

Nice and easy to fit and the controller sits nicely mounted in the centre console.

Also came back with ARB compressor and mounted it under the bonnet and switch just under the ash tray. All ready to be Locked!!!

Note; used some high temp rubber at the base. Stopping the rattle.

Ordered a HID upgrade kit for the Narva’s off fleabay! Now these have saved some panel a few times! Although slight modification was necessary to stop them from drooping on corrugation! Trust me the last thing you need when travelling in the dark on the Marble Bar road’

Ballast mounts on battery tray. Will upgrade to plastic waterproof casing.
Now in the Pilbara we need a bit of clearance to get to some of the worlds best places so the next trip to Perth I went and seen Arnie at Autoride Suspension. I can not recommend this guy enough. He has been doing this long enough to know the ins and outs of suspension. Plus the many recommendations on this site and others.
So on went Bilstein shocks and Lovell springs.

Than he gave me a good price for Polyairs and Safari snorkel. So what the hell on they went. The workman ship for the snorkel is top notch. Re-sprayed the cuts and everything. Worth leaving the car with him for 2 days.
The last thing to go on about 2 months ago was the Simpson III ARB roof top tent and a 2.5m awning. Really wanted the Hannibal but ARB had a promotion which was just too good too refuse. unfortunately definately doesn't help the aerodyanmics. Actually affects it about 2l or so depending on speed.

Unifilter arrived today 12/07/10

Well I’ll take some pics over the weekend and hopefully find some of it getting dirty.
I think I will be looking at an exhaust upgrade and possibly a chip!
