this is how the story goes, bought my pov pack 120 in aug 07 came with rack, bar, lights , cargo barrier, dual batteries and toyota towbar and i put some aftermarket alloys as well with some bridgey 694s, then i put a airtech snorkel and ironman constant load lift in before i went to fraser
all nice and shiney

then santa bought me an opensky awning


then i added some diy recovery points


105ah deep cycle battery and constant duty solenoid

12v power socket in bullbar post

then a boost gauge

and the $20 bash plate

i also put some roolites on and a decent gme antenna for the uhf

and an ironman 9500lb winch

i also installed the std diy rear door table and drawer and fridge slide and a waeco 60l

ironman recovery kit to go in the drawers

plus the std fire extinguisher, 600 watt inverter, fridge socket


then i installed arb compressor and rear airlocker


a piranah dual battery monitor and rear work light


also got some cooper st and some diy sliders



and also installed some front coil spacers

and also a uniden uhf and a electric brake controller and garmin nuvi 1390 gps


loaded up for chrissy hols dec 09 with hire camper

also there is a k&n air filter,custom roofrack bag and a heavy duty exedy clutch for good measure. thats all i can recall at the moment. cheers samo

Hey Samo: why did I already think you had a build thread here??? Anyway, about time! Good truck there with (most) of the essentials. I already gather you regularly put it to very good use!

How do you find the Ironman winch by the way?

ironman winch has been good, no problems, it copped a flogging on the watagans trip we did a while ago, i like the wireless controller, but it also has std back up hand controller just incase. i have been a bit lazy in getting a thread going but you get that. cheers samo

Thanks Samo, I am keen on one and yours appears to be a good size. If it's no bother, can you measure it please as I notice there are many sizes available.

Andy, that rack would be the AT1810. How do I know? The standard heavy duty crossbar length is 1250mm. If it was the AT1812, it would overhang the crossbar, which is a no-no. The dimension from the front to rear crossbar is just over 1500mm. The alloy rack looks to be installed 150mm fwd and 150mm aft of the front and rear crossbar respectively.

put the foamcells in today and took the poly coil spacer out and used the proper 16mm steel spacer that comes with the strut, after install took it for run i must say its a different vehicle to drive, handles bumps hell of a lot better and doesnt top the struts out anymore, as i only had 30mm dowtravel left with the old struts, now i have 60mm down travel as the new struts r longer (old strut with wheel off ground was 835mm and new strut with wheel off the ground is 865mm)it just generally handles better, these foamcells seem to have better rebound as when i hit a bump, im very happy. the height hasnt changed either, im sitting at 805 and 810mm in the front. cheers samo
