This is my first topic post, but I have been a member a while and have used PP to get some great ideas on mods to my VX. Anyway, I just had a new set of tyres put on this week & looked at the Rig & thought, she looks Beaut! So I thought I better share it with others.
So anyway, What I have done in the last 2 years since getting her is:
Sovereign Bar New
Roof Rails + Racks
Lightforce 170 Strikers - DIY
Dual Batteries - DIY (ABR Sidewinder & Piranha Tray)
Rear Drawer & Fridge Slide - Off Road Systems
Cargo Barrier
2 inch Lift - Ultimate Suspension
Kaymar Rear Work/Camp Light
Rear DVD Head rests for the Kids
2 Inch Sheep Skin Seat covers - Front. Cheap arse synthetic covers for the kids (they are trashed after 18 months)
LED Park Lights
275/65 BFG A/T's - they look sweet!
400W Inverter in the rear.
Anderson Plug at rear
Treg Hitch
Ironman Recovery Gear
A few years worth of subscriptions to 4wd Action Mag including Camper Trailer Touring.
Some Weekends - GIC Extreme Off Road Camper - with DIY 12V System Installed for lighting & water pump, XTrail Kitchen/Sink.
TO COME:
Snorkel (DIY, or ARB to Install???) A bit concerned I might make an error which cannot be rectified!
ARB Bar to replace the sovereign (saves having to get Toyota Winch Bracket & OI Recovery Points)
Winch - Tigers 11 12000 Lb is what I have my eyes on (Just to be sure when we have the camper on as well).
New Stereo Head unit to support a rear camera plus Dig TV/DVD & iPod/iPad.
Boat Racks for a tiny on the Camper - need good design.
more pics of specifics when I get the time.
Just looked at the pick again and geez it looks good. In know it's not much different to anybody else, but it's mine (and the ball and chains).
