Hey mate, love the rig. Have you been able to do any fuel calculations on the 285 tyres? Does the torque converter still lock up at highway speeds?
Do the wheels and tyres protrude from the guards? If they don't then it is great news; 150 Prados can be fitted with 33 inch tyres the only mods being P6 offset wheels, 2 inch lift and minor mudflap alterations. Will be something to consider when my 265/70R17s wear out.

The same cannot be said for the 120 apparently.

I have a 150SWB and i bought the same rims(dick cepek torque et6) but i don't have them yet(they come from usa).
I wont to fit 285/70/17 but I'm afraid they will rub the mudflaps,what do you think about it?
I have a OME lift of 2inches and I wont a ARB sahara bar next year and a safari snorkel.
Sorry for my englisch because in Belgium we speak dutch.

Was wondering if you had to do any mods on the spare wheel bracket to fit the DC Torque rims with the +6 offset, I'm looking at putting a set of the same rims with a set of BFG AT"s 265x65x17 on my 150 prado, did u have any problems i have no lift at the moment either.

Hallo Liam89.

I have the same rims like XHILER8 with 285/70/17 and its not possible to fit the spare wheel without any mods but with 265/65/17 it will fit I think.
Just remember that with this rims the tire comes a little bit out of the guard.
Without a lift these rims with 265/65/17 will fit.

I'm very happy with this rims only a little bit difficult to clean them

Search for Part #: 1078412

They are the 17x8.5 rims with the 6x5.5 stud pattern. Offset is P6.
