    Error: Your message contains too many smilies.

    Hi Mods,

    Getting this message when trying to modify my existing rig buildup thread:
    Your message contains too many smilies. The maximum number of smilies allowed is 25.

    Can this be fixed again

    I am also getting an error message when I try to modify my rig build up, telling me I have exceeded the URL limit of 20...
    Most rig buildups by far exceed that number. Maybe a recent change? Or maybe this is part of the same/similar error?

    I did PM Aaron as a polite query just yesterday about it, but I would suspect like everyone else he is a very busy man!

      I had the issue with too many URLs a while back so I have split my build into multiple posts within the blurr that is mine. I have then linked the posts together. A cheap workaround.

        I did try to do that yesterday, split and link posts... Turns out that i'd have to chop my first page into 3 or more pages as I have 65ish URLs (photo, link, thumbnail - excluding that thumbnails may actually require 2 URLs each). if you wanted to edit your first page then possibly 4 or 5 pages would need to be created - as there are +80 something (just did quick count).

        For most threads a 20 limit would seem way in excess of what might be required, but for the buildups, it seems better to be able to collate lots of information into one post making it easier to follow, read and keep track of what has been done on others rigs (without having to scroll through lots of minor posts about one upgrade to another). Same would be true for some of the larger HOWTOs that are floating around or may be created in the future... ???

        Hadn't seen it mentioned before, and Stan posted a similar error for all of his , and the URL's seemed related... ???

                bugger!!! and I spent 6 hours last night rearranging my entire buildup... :|

                I had figured that was probably the case! Stress free buddy, I think the new buildup look will work a bit better though...
