Just looked on Anacondas website. The 40lt engel has dropped down to $1040! That's cheaper than eBay at $1200 plus postage. I think it's clear that a decision has been made Thanks again Melbo.William

Guys and Girls
Also check out Getaway (was called Ranger Outdoors - in WA), just purchased a Engel 80Litre combo, joined their club first on the spot (free) gave me a 20% dicount on first initial purchase, the como was $1999 down to $1599 thought this was a reasonably good deal. Also spent extra on cover, extra fishing and camping equipment, some of which I needed and ...well just in case of... but everything bought was 20% off.
In addition, you have a card for specials only available to Getaway members and other items with 10% idsount on every purchase.
Regards
RMB

Unboxed the fridge yesterday
Screwed in the fridge slide, bagged the fridge and tested it
I then hooked it up to mains to run the fridge overnight... in the morning I turned it to freeze mode and threw in a bottle of water... came back in the afternoon and it was rock solid. I'm impressedWilliam

While the fridge was getting tested at home... I went and picked up a couple of ratchet straps to tie down the fridge
Mock fitted the battery box to get an idea of how I'll be mounting it. Currently, it's going to be a home made aluminium battery tray that bolts down to the drawer system, of which the battery box will be strapped down on.
So you're probably wondering why I didn't run cables from the Aux battery under the bonnet to the rear. Simple answer is I don't want to cut holes in the trim and honestly I can't be stuffed! I'll see how I go with this setup first and if it's not feasible I'll probably run some cables down to the back. The Aux under the bonnet is actually 100% used for lighting.William
