Waiting to get home to Broome before I get serious about fitting my compressor plus some other goodies.
Plenty of time to ponder matters on the drive from Perth.
After adding the Steinbauer it is tempting to go the whole hog and fit the Humex. Soon I'll have enough cast-off bits to build most of a car!

Giles, I've just bought a Kaymar Wheel on Door Bracket and am interested in how you powered the rear work light? Where did you get power from? How and where is it switched from? And where did you route the cable into the cabin?

Hey Kcharng,

It's pretty much the same as when we were doing the 120 Grande! More labour time is involved but because you dont need coils for the rear it kind of balances out on price.

We have had no issues with our Kakadu,best bet would be find your local ARB supplier and quiz them about the parts and fit.

Their made in the same factory......go with your heart, but i went cooper aswell very happy!!!

Yep Mudguts is right, Slight differences in the tread patterns make a minor difference i'd imagine but unless you were a tyre expert ect you wouldnt pick the difference.

They are going good,handling well really cant complain

I sent you a reply some time ago to one of your quotes, but have had other expenses to pay (new van), and we are now in the new website. Will the exhaust give much better power and economy towing the van, and does the catalytic converter get altered/changed? A Toyota mechanic told me not to stuff around with the converter.

It does make a difference,the cat gets changed. Humex have done a fair amount of R & D in regards to the System.

Stuffing around with the Cat could mean several things ie "Punching it through" Which is illegal.

We have taken it out on a few day trips but nothing crazy, it goes well does everything we ask it too.
