Prado was bought November 2009 and used off road in original form. Has taken 12 months to get it were it is now with only the addition of tires and drawers to come. Thankyou very much to the boys at Mannell Motors.

I would drop your fairlead down lower as the rope could fowl on the top of the bar edge

How are you finding the fuel economy after all of the mods? Curious as I'm about to get stuck into some more (bullbar, snorkel etc) on my V6.

As the VX had 18" wheels have been looking for new shoes, just before christmas found some and ordered them as the were out of stock. Not much available in 18", but eventually decided on Cooper S/T's 275/65 R18 and have just been fitted last week. Had some issues with the from tyres rubbing on mudflaps when in full lock and also 15mm gap between tyre and suspension arm but all sorted. They look good on the car will post some pictures, the wife is happy as it's her car.

Thanks Giles, wife also very happy with it, she has even taken it for a spin on the sand and loves it. Looks even better now that it has decent tyres (Cooper S/T's) and have now removed the tyre cover as the new spare does not fit in it. She didnt like it being removed but has grown to like it. What to do next? Front Lockers maybe.... her birthday is coming up.

Rick, I can see you have the Rhino light mounts on the alloy tray. What are you planning to mount up there? Would have thought you probably have a hugh amount of light and wouldn't need any more.

Hi Schaffer,
I friend of mine works for Rhino and he threw them in when i bought the tray. JUst put them on so i knew were they are. Plan to move one to the back and put on a reverse/working light.

What the problem with the 15mm gap between tyre and suspension??

Do the tyres fit ok now - what was involved in fixing the problems??
