Wow...... Way out of left field!

Did not see any whisper of this on the forum, looks great.

Can I see a spacer on the front upper suspension arm? Can you provide some details of the kit used?
Any other adjustments needed at the rear end because of the level of lift? adjustable panhard rod?

With some meaty high profile mud tyres its going to look sweeeet.

      Hi Bernie,
the details on the kit are as follows (this is pretty much straight from Matt at MR email). Also the Shock the MR uses are their own brand made for them with thier own specs.
      Adjustable height front coilovers
      long travel rear shocks
diff relocation brackets for the front
Upper control arms with 20mm extended ball joint
and the kit for the non KDSS has swaybar relocators aswell.

while they were experimenting with springs in the rear, cam reckons he had the back up around 4" and it was quite happy, but so i can have it engineered i need max of 3", so we had to drop it back to three.

wheels are going to be Dick cepek torque on 265/70r17 MT muddies. cant wait!

MR are also going to be making bash plates to suit the dropped diff at the font and one for the rear apparently. should be good to see

        Wicked!!!

I've been waiting for this for a long time, I spoke with Max at monster rides regarding the kit, should only be a few weeks on finalizing things and then I'll have it delivered and fitted. The results look bloody awesome, bet you're bloody stoked there mate

The whole process was a bit of suck and see along the way, But Cam from Auto transmission r us in Balcatta certainly seems to know his stuff. Aparently there were a few issues with the KDSS but nothing too major. There is still a front diff drop bracket to go in the take some angle off the CV's. The one that was sent with the kit didn't quite fit properly so they are going for a redesign.
          any ways... some pics!

umm i think the kit on it's own was just under or around $3700 mark... not entirely sure because i paid for fitting aswell.
although i didn't need the sway bar relocators and the rear springs were sourced over here. so actually probably closer to 4k.
            Cheers

Good to see you still fit in the garage though!

yeah i'm very happy. there is still a bit of adjustability in it, so i think i'll get it engineered once the wheels go on and then maybe try for a little bit more height.

Won't go into taking the rails off. That's already been well documented in other threads. But here are the clips. There is a little arrow on them that has to face towards the middle of the car. Otherwise the plastic clip doesn't line up with the rest of the rubber insert

I'm not completey sure to be honest. i just told them what i was planning on doing and that i needed something to fill the gap, and they had an exploded parts diagram which they just picked all the part numbers off of.

They are a 265/70r17 mickeythompson MTZ on Dick Cepek Torques.
they make a bit of a whine at freeway speeds, but not more than i was expecting. Looks like fuel has gone up a bit aswell.
