  • Mudeye's Silver 150 Buildup

The build up of my silver prado has finally begun. It lasted just on 2000 km's in original condition before the changes. The guys at ARB were very accommodating and have done a pretty good job of photographing the process of adding a tow bar, bullbar and snorkel.

Will start documenting the process as soon as I have figured out the best approach to handling the images side of things.

Hey mudeye, nice to see the buildup commencing! Was just wondering about your tow bar installation. How come you don't have the plastic/rubber cap that goes over the bumper to hide the cut out? I'm assuming you didn't follow the cut out on the back of the bumper? I've cut off much more of the bumper (by eye, from the front) than you did. I've cut out more from the top to accomodate the clip on the plastic/rubber cap.

                          william,

i think you've got a genuine bar, whereas mudeye is using aftermarket.

                            Hi William

I too was not completely happy with the finish but was told this is how the job is completed. Will raise it again when I go back to get my old fog lights. A simple rubber strip like that used to finish off the bullbar cut would be enough to satisfy me.

                            cheers
