As the wife will be in town for a couple of weeks, will be looking to this done. Any info you can give would be great.

    Cheers,

    Simon

Sorry about not replying sooner. Haven't been on PP for a while. Really happy with the tint. Still haven't posted any photos yet though.

Got the dual batteries in a while ago. I had posted in another thread but not on my rig build up.

No problems fitting the 720 under the bonnet. See photos below.

        RJ45 pass through mic connection

The radio I have is a GME TX3600 that I have had for a number of years but only recently swapped the remote face / head for a LCD microphone. The intent being that I wouldn't need to drill any holes and could unplug and put the mic out of sight when not in use. To clean up the installation I used a RJ45 pass-through (F-F) connector with a face plate (light blue) that fits quite neatly in to the hole beside the 2nd start button. The power ended up coming from a wire soldered to the +ve of the 12V outlet in the middle row. This was the easiest place to get at by simply removing the whole rear fascia of the console box. The aerial was fitted with the bullbar and is a Laser UHF - 2 EL Collinear - Rugged Fibreglass

Hi Roadblock, where did you get the RJ45 pass through from? I have been looking for one to fit into the blank hole on the dash.

        Cheers mate.

          Hi Coops,

I had some left over from a AV install at work. The one I used is made by Extron Electronics and is simply a RJ-45 / RJ-11 Female - Female Barrel. They have interchangable bezels (face plate). Its not a perfect fit in the dash hole but it seems to click in and stay there.

I thought I had a couple left over but I have probably given out more than 10 of them to PP members since the post went up and I don't have any left sorry. Might want to try a jaycar store or something?

Absolutely. My in-laws just bought a new paj and we're talking to me about the Wetseats on the weekend. They still fit great and look like new after a run through the washing machine. Have saved the seats from everything from vomit to blackjack. The Velcro strap that holds the drivers seatcover on ripped at one end but the cover still doesn't move. Pretty good since she's just rolled over 160k. That's a lot of time putting up with my heavy rear end sitting on it!

I highly recommend them. The guys at Wetseat were great to deal with and even customised the colour of the neo and the stitching for me at no additional cost. Beat in mind that was nearly 4 years ago now.
