I hope your didn't spill any when you fell over. Quite talented to still take the shot after falling over though!

Thanks, but wouldn't matter if i did spill a coke.... bloody dry zone

Best non-spilling effort is, beer in one hand while taking a catch horizontal'ish to the ground and saving the window of the shed That was a looooong time ago

                        Hi Craig

If you are at Bulwer looking at the water you are facing west.

                        cheers

As a beginner photographer, would it be too much to ask those who have posted pics in this thread to provide a bit of commentary about how the shot was achieved. Maybe details like equipment used, lens used, F-stop, exposure time, ISO rating, filter perhaps? and any other details you care to share.

Not a problem. Equipment is Nikon D7000 with a 18-200mm zoom, which covers pretty much all my needs. Sometimes I wish I had an ultra wide lens, though. For sunsets/sunrise I use a tripod for my convenience and for best results. Most of the times I use ISO400-800 but I don't fuss too much as the quality is nice. I just care that aperture is a minimum of 8 for landscape or that exposure time is short enough to get a sharp picture. The rest really is about .... having the right light (and being in the right spot at the right time)

PS. I use an apple computer and aperture, which allows for easy editing.
