    Hey guys,

Thought i'd share a few of my FPV videos i have been making with my Rc plane and video gear

    fpv @ urunga beach - http://youtu.be/hkDUX-qg0Is

    cessna aerobatics - http://youtu.be/YpCrXweLmdw

Quality of camera is not that great as i am only using a older keychain camera, Looking at upgrading to HD one before my aus trip as i'm working towards a FPV at ayres rock while im out there and hoping to capture some awesome images from the sky. My setup should be good for around 2-2.5kms but have only had it out to 1.4kms so far without any worries.

Plane is equipped with 2650mah battery (10mins flight approx), GPS with on screen display (alt/distance/battery info) for goggles and return to home autopilot/failsafe function, SONY CCD 1/3inch Camera (goggles) & keychain#808 (recording)

This had been an ongoing project since the middle of last year and finally everything has come together, Heres the rig that gets me up there and a picture of what i see through my goggles.

The camera is mounted in front of the cockpit, it's that black item in the pic and no they're not a great camera for aerial vid's,but they are a inexpensive great starter camera for experimenting with and gaining experience with.

I like your vids zutta, I still trying to get motivated and at the moment I've got my GoPro HD mounted in my Thunder tiger Neptune SB-1 sub.
Fitted so far:-Toyota Alloy bar,Redarc BDCD1220 battery managment system and dual power outlet, tracklander full length rack and ladder,Milford cargo barrier,Kaon transmission guard, UVP& Lower Shock mount Guards,Dobinson/Bilstein suspension,Toyota Bonnet and headlight guards,39ltr engel and an opposite lock stubby holder (from the old '80' series),Polyair Airbags,Pradopoint sticker,Gonefishin' custom Sidesteps.

Thanks chappy. Got the new 1080p keychain #26 on the way so future vids should be a lot better quality, It's not a go pro but for $100 it's far less disappointment if the plane goes down

go pro vs #26 winner is go pro no doubt but bang for buck the #26 looks pretty good.

Ill get it all sorted before we hit the red centre anyway, no work = more time for flying

JordanCabot- wtf ? Love the criticism on your very first post :\ way to join a forum.

Thanks Zutta, My biggest problem is Jello in the camera from the mutlicopter. I am heading to Central on the 29th and thinking of taking the copter to get some nice aerial shots of Big Red etc. Just need to find room for all the gear.

Hey Nema, I have the same problem with the sub as it's about 700mm long and weights in at 7kg's but I do get some great underwater vids. this vid was taken using the gopro Hero HD Naked.

I know the pain with getting one prop perfectly balanced as it effects camera recording so would hate to have 4 Maybe try some of this ?http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...0mm_x_6mm.html

The closest I've come to FPV is with an AR Drone V1 and it takes a bit of getting used to orientation wise, so hats off to you fella's
                  for your efforts .

quick flight out to 500 metres testing cam, here's a few stills from the video. works a treat on the plane

The red rock should produce some sweet video and picts.

Pretty impressive, if you hadn't mentioned that it was a key cam, you'd be fooled into believing that they'd been taken on an digital camera.

                      cheers,
