With Nokia's new Lumina 1020 phone and its 41 mega pixel camera it is probably better than a lot of camera's out there in the P&S range, and probably even some in the dSLR range!

There's more to photography than pixels. You may be right but I will stick with my DSLR and its pathetic 36MP and some good quality glass.

I don't care how many megapixels you whack on a phone, it can't come close to the flexibility of an SLR.... and it's that flexibility that gets those great shots.

I agree, I wont be giving up my dSLR any time soon, but it is scary how far along things are coming to be able to produce decent quality shots (in the right conditions) with such small devices.
