just wondering what cameras people use to get all their pics, i just been using me old trusty happy snapper cannon ixus and it doesnt cut it no more so i retired it and got meself a new Cannon EOS 1000d slr with a couple of lenses, dont know y i held off so long getting a good camera. just need to work out how to use all the flash stuff on it. cheers samo

Favourite: Linhof 4x5" large format monorail
Most Used: Nikon D700 - what a machine...
Others I own but don't use much: Pentax *istD, MZ-5n, P30, MV, Olympus trip 35 :lol: , Hanimex 35 point & shoot :lol: :lol: ,
Others I don't own but use a lot: Canon 5DmkII, 50D, Nikon coolpix something and a whole heap of specialty cameras most people have never heard of.
What I wish I had: Phantom V710, Sinar 8x10, another D700 or D3, Nikon F6, P1 4x5" digital back, a range of lenses for them all, an armoury of Broncolor lighting equipment, microflash, slit spark light source & 3 1000mm dia. f10 schlieren mirrors.

Oh, ....and time and space to play with it all! :roll:

Run a Canon EOS 400D.

Have a few lenses but mainly use 24-200 zoom and 10-20 wide angle

Glad i made the investment a few years ago now, already racked up over 30,000 photos

EOS 450D with 17-85mm IS USM and 70-300mm IS USM lenses... and the 430EX speedlight.
I also have a reasonable Manfrotto tripod. (The tripod is a lot more useful than I would ever
have imagined Love it.)

Canon 1000D with twin lens kit. Also still trying to figure out how everything works. Only had it for 3 months but very happy so far. Previous camera was a Kodak DX7590.

I shoot canon and my bodies are a 40D and 5DMk2, lenses are many but my most loved are my Canon 300mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8, MP-E 65mm 1X-5X macro lens, Canon 180mm f3.5 macro lens, Canon 17-40mm f4.0.

Depends if I am using the pocketwizards and remote setups have been known to shoot 5 at the same time. :wink:

Point and shoot is the Canon G10, anything serious gets shot on the Canon 1Ds mkIII.
