My brother and I are planning a trip out into the centre from Sydney in July. He is unable to drive due to a medical condition, but since he retired he has become a very keen photographer. As a consequence he has not been able to get to a lot of places that he would like to see and photograph. I would like to be able to take him to places where he can indulge this passion that he has. Since we cannot share the driving, our range per day is likely to be a little less than what I would normally expect to cover. I have a few ideas of my own, but I would appreciate suggestions from others, particularly from you blokes who like to look through a lens!

Re: Photography trip - where to go
Have a look at some of these Whirlpool threads
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/?a ... 2&q=sydney
Obviously, not all are related to the "where can I photograph in sydney" topic but there are a few scattered in there.
Early morning, before the crack of dawn, around sunset and night time photography would make the most interesting photos. Try out HDR or graduated ND filters for the sunrise/sunset stuff.
What sort of things are you going to shoot? Landscape, people, architecture...
