  • Prado Magazine(s)?

Does anyone know whether there are any Toyo Prado specific magazines available? I see LR & Jeep mags, but nothing for us (or so I think)

    Re: Prado Magazine(s)?

I don't think so. 4WD Action some times has Prado related articles.

As capable as the Prado is, it is over shadowed by the Landcruiser and (what I believe is) the less capable Hilux.

Alas Prados are relegated to school pickup/drop-off zones. But it means they make a better 2nd hand 4x4 because 9/10 Prados are used as shopping trollies.

And why not. If we can afford it. I always wanted a Sation Sedan but no woman in my life has ever allowed me to have one. (Talk about under the thumb; LOL). I have had shagging Wagons and Monaros.

For some reason they like a boot. Probably to hide all the clothes shopping that they do until they can sneak it into the house.

        I agree 100%.

High driving position + 4x4 accessories makes the perfect vehicle for people with size complexes to intimidate others, I mean pick the kids up.

Boy, there's a can of worms right there lolololololol

If there was a Prado magazine, why would any of us buy it when it's readily available right here on pradopoint at a low cost of $0.00 There's that and a great community to interact with

This Forum is the best way of finding all of the issues and mods for your Prado. If someone on here doesn't know the answer to a question then there isn't a fix.

I personally wouldn't buy a Prado specific magazine. Sorry but I think I would find it rather boring and would probably pick up a pretty bad reputation if one was to exist (ie the Magazine about Shopping Trolllies)

Join a good 4wd club. Get good trips in the bush, access to the club property and a mag every month with trip reports.

4WD action have a limited release specific to Toyota and another for Nissan. These are not avilable off the shelf by themselves but often show up as a second magazine in a shrink wrap pack from the newsagent. TLCC in Sydney have a quartley magazine that probably best fits this category. Would be good to find this as a PDF.

For us WA folk, I have seen a Toyota specific 4WD Action mag - its kinda like a 'best of' of Toyota custom rigs they have featured in previous issues.
