Just Straps makes some purpose-built fridge restraint straps (halfway down the page)
These work very well with a slide or fridge mount and can be disconnected easily if you need to remove the fridge, you might need to add securing points to your luggage area if you are not using a slide. We use a Lifestyle second row fridge mount. It replaces the passenger side seat and we like this solution because it leaves the luggage area free for longer items. Fridge access is better too, especially if you're short (ask my lil wifey) .2008 D4D M6 GXL [MT ATZ-P3][Whitey's Ironman 45710FE/45682FE+KTFR101H/Dob487][extended Roadsafe links][Polyairs][DBA T3/T2][amts diffdrop & recovery points][Tin175's stone guards][Bushskins BashPlate][ARB Sahara][IPF 900s][Snorkel][WindCheetah][MaxTrax][IC-440][Parrot Asteroid][ARB Fridge][Lifestyle 2nd Row Fridge Mount][ARB Compressor][Thumper][SandGrabbers][Cargo Barrier][Tigerz Awning][MCC Rear Bar]

If you are considering a lot of rough especially sand dunes country Engel has some purpose made tie down eyelets that screw into the handle mounts and save you from bending the tube handles on your fridge.
I use these in conjunction with small rigging screws and my draws - fantastic2011 GX TJM type 13, Airtec snorkel, TJM bash plates, Gensis HID lights & a few antenna's
