    He was lucky to come out OK due to the fast flow, but that's not actually that deep.
    He did it well, right speed for the conditions.
    Critical point to watch ( without a snorkel ) is for water coming above the top of the RH front wheel arch. The air intake is located there.

      yeah but at least if he didnt make it the water wouldnt have been to cold :shock:

        Yeah the water isn't that deep but a snorkle would help. He still needs to consider that the airfilter has three small holes in the bottom as well. Water can be drawn in through here if you get deep enough, even with a snorkle. Being that it's a lite two door then he also needs to consider the water flow rate and displacement of the vehicle in water or else he will float down the stream. SHOULD also have the windows down for such a moment as the vehcile stops and the water level causes the electrics to fail as opening a door into that depth of water would be near impossible due to the differences in pressure on each side of the door. If the electrics have failed then how do you get out into the freezing water.
