Loooooooong URLs

Some websites use stupidly long URLs and these are sometimes hard to reference on here as they won't wrap to the next line.

An easy solution is to open the page you want to reference, highlight the long URL (use F6 in Firefox), copy it to the clipboard. Go to http://tinyurl.com/ and paste the URL and hit "Make it tiny".

You can then paste the small URL in your post and it appears nice and neat.

So instead of http://www.exploroz.com/Forum/Archiv...acity%26pn%3D1

You will have http://tinyurl.com/3yet2h

can use the text replacement thing as well... instead of

(url)puturlhere(/url)

use this

(url=put url here) but show it as this (/url)

so instead of

http://www.news.com.au

you get
