here is 1 pic from the shoot.

have others but they are highly likely to be used for the mag, so i wont show them.
the pic is when Matt missed the correct line,
and it didn't have the desired effect (wontdo in the detail about what that is/was).
                was a top day.
went or a play after the shoot and got my rig stuck

Back home, car is unloaded and some of the mud came off with the hose; will need too give the old girl a big tub up next weekend.

We had a good couple of hours out on the powerlines tracks near freemans waterhole. The main area we did the pictures was up in the ARB training ground area. Alot of steep hills, rutted areas, rocky sections and mud holes. The V6 went well all day and with the locker kicked in, climbed everything I aimed it at.

We had a BBQ lunch after the shoot. Was a top day... Except for a certain bloke wearing new MTR Wranglers got stuck, took on water in the cab and had to get snatched out good on ya Damonat !!!

I forgot to mention and I know it deserves a mention..

The sidesteps/sliders that Samo and I made are frigging brilliant. Today on more than one occasion I was either laying in a rut, using them to protect my sills and doors or smashing them as I dropped into a mud hole or down a rock step. Damo told me on one big incline, while I was laying in a rut for a articulation photo, that there was bugger all flex and they were doing the job well. Just thought, credit where credit it due. Samo's welding, even with a stick welder (not a mig welder like others use) bloody rocks

Also another huge plus today was our snapper from Australian Images, Mr Jamie Benaud. He rocked up in his 4 inch lifted 100 series with a 4.5 Turbo V8 from a 70 series. This 100 series was a animal in the mud ruts.. and the sound of that 3inch exhaust... bloody hell it was brilliant

So I am very happy with the old girl, might seriously look at moving up to 70 series muds when the BFG's wear out, to gain some more room under the diffs and more grip. Damo showing up with brand new MTR Wranglers have sort of swayed me towards full muds again

I take it from the description that the 100 is the same one from a few issues back when 4WD Action did the recovery kit comparo. Very awesome and tidy 100 series indeed - if it is in fact the same one... I can't imagine there would be too many 100's with the 4.5 V8 in it...

I saw the Australian Images 100 series in the Lithgow Maccas car park a few months back. I recognised the Isuzu D-max bonnet scoop. He was gone before I could finish my cheese burger....
