Bit like the water shortage saga, all due to global warming of course. Billions and billions of water lay under this great state - untapped. Enough water under Wingellina to meet Perth's needs for 4,000 years. But will they bring it up and pipe it to Perth - no, they want to double the output of the water de-sal plant and charge the customers more.

Bet those people who bought holiday homes in Binningup years ago are happy they now even have a bigger desal plant next door pumping more salt into the indian ocean. In WA our gas just went up, now water, we will just have to learn to be more flexible, hold our ankles and..... I was even going to buy some electr panels for the roof and get electricity credits back from Horizon power, but they decided to can that yesterday, fearing a stampead before the proposed cut off and I wanted to go green. What a crock all this polli babble is. The sea is warming and it's giving up co2. The human contribution to this co2 is jack. What are the scientists going to say when this current wave of increased solar activity decreases and the sea begins to cool. Oh we did a great job and prevented calamity by imposing a tax.

The lies that Juliar and her bandwagon tell along with the majority of pollies in other countries agree with is simply a coverup to get extra money from people who don't want to be told that the overwhelming aging population of middle class countries is paying less tax and require more infrastructure to support our older bodies.

Shit people it simple, if we want the same infrastructureopulation ratio that we enjoyed in the 50s to 70s then we have to either cut spending or pay more tax. Personally I would follow a politician that had the balls to just say it like it is and not piss around telling me that I have to pay more because with the growing population there are more cows and the all fart and breath.

Hey Juliar before you shift your bony ass back to wales for me;
1. Stop spending buckets of cash on fighting a war overseas that we can't win.
2. Get rid of the state governments and distribute the funds to the local governments.
3. Stop this work for the dole crap and bring back national service. Use these people as the firemen/police/ ect ect
4. Bring back corporal punishment so our kids learn some disclipine.
5. Stop paying single mothers with more than 2 kids to different fathers money.

Now with the money your saving invest that into health and education to start with and then infrastructure as the country gets it engineers and workforce trained.
