We did a desert tour over there a few years ago. Followed another 4x4 over a dune. First one got stuck over the other side and we went straight up its backside. The drivers didn't know what to do, running around like headless chooks. No one was injured so we (Aussies) hooked up a snatch around the bent in bits of the rear car and snatched the gaurds out of the wheels so that it could be driven back to Dubai.

I drive my quadbike the same way down at the dunes west of Esperance. Don't think my Prado would last long if I drove the same way though.

Betcha they are surfers, re-entries, aerials, tail slides, cutbacks, bottom turns. If there's no surf you'll always find a way.

Reminds me of dakar driving - only from watching sbs each year. momentum is the key, mind you doing the stall turns isn't exactly my thing. but placing one wheel over crest so your not square on is a good technique

v8 petrols for sure its cheap enough over there

Counted about 3 luck moments including the cut at 2.49 being interesting... any suggestions why they didnt follow that clip a bit longer?
