Road on the Darling Run

I am heading off to do the Darling Run very shortly and was wondering about the road down the Darling. If it's dry all is fine. With the very likely event that it will rain when we are there what is the road like in the wet? I imagine if it rains we will have to go to Plan B (yet to be decided). Thanks in advance. Nobby

If it is wet they will close the road, a lot of clay around that way and a bit of rain makes it treacherous. just heard on the radio that they have hade thunderstorms and hail through NW Vic and SW NSW yesterday with a lot of rain and hail, we are supposed to be heading up the Darling run on the weekend, not sure what we will find though.

might be plan B for us as well.

Just found this site http://www.centraldarling.nsw.gov.au/roads/1091.html for road closures, looks like all our roads are OK at this stage, but will have to check Saturday Morning before we head off.

Thanks Andrew, we to are heading off this weekend. Should be on the run on Tuesday from the Bourke end going South. We are in a Silver Prado with a Aliminum Pacific camper on the back. We will be Bush camping. Might see you there.By the way my daughter liver at Barmera/ Kingston on Murray. Son-In Law has a Karaoke Business., where we will be ending up. Nobby

We will be at the GTG out of Brisbane by Tuesday so doesn't sound like our paths will cross. Have a good trip.
