Bribie Island... Current conditions?

i went on 18th this month. inland track still closed and lagoons were flowing to ocean. for people that don't know where to get a permit head to the news agent or theres a tackle shop on the way to woorim.

Oh yeh, How deep were they jimmy? We're planning on heading up there this weekend.

i got threw easy. my prado isn't lifted and no snorkle. just follow other cars see how they go or walk it. i'd say maybe half mater at the most as i kinda winged one haha was keen to get home so just went for it.

thanks jimmy. i don't have a snorkel either and am very hesitant with water crossings. haven't done too many in the past.

I'm heading up to Bribie Is later next week for a day drive and I was wondering if anyone has been there recently that can advise on conditions or closures?

I went there with a girlfriend and our kids almost 2 weeks ago and it was great! The low tide wasn't that low and we did decide to set up before the 2nd lagoon. A Kluger got stuck in the washout which was good entertainment watching it get rescued, but the kids had a ball! No piccies. Have fun, we're going up there again on Wednesday.

Not sure if we're going Wed or Thurs as yet.
I haven't been on the beach side of Bribie before, it will be my first drive on the sand. I thought Bribie would be a good starting point.
