Hi there 97 prado, I always said the 3.4 V6 was a great motor. With out going into a debate I bet if you weigh up what it cost in diesel form to buy, then repairs on the diesels (1KZ I'm referring to) and extra servicing I bet there would be nothing in it in regards to the extra fuel the V6 would have used over the years and not forgetting the 1KZ wasnt that fuel efficient either especially in auto, was stuff all difference when I had the two of them..............bet you will see another 100 thou out of the old girl yet.... Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

Miss my 98 VX but, it had 275,000 k's on the clock and was drinking fuel faster than I could put it in.

2010 GXL Diesel - just passed 18000ks most of which were done on trips. It spend most of its time parked during the week. Runs well, though I still don't like overtaking other cars at the highway speed limit as the acceleration leaves a bit to be desired at 100Kph. Makes up for it on the rough stuff though.Prado GXL 150 D4D, OME Suspension, Safari Snorkel, Brown Davis Underbody Guards, T13 Bull Bar, Warn XP9.5, 285/70 r17 Cooper STTs on Dick Cepek Torque rims,
