we're contemplating doing this at work, no matter how many signs are placed in camp areas people find it such an effort to take rubbish with them but have no problem throwing it into the bush.

Unfortunately travis.luke there will always be the few that spoil it for the many. I used to go camping with a couple that hated putting the rubbish in their surf so would zoom through packing and then take off and leave me with all the rubbish and when I'd pull them up on it their excuse would be "Oh but you don't have a canopy on your hilux so it doesn't matter if the rubbish leaks a bit in your tray." I hate to think what they did with their rubbish when I didn't go with them! Oh, and they usually would forget the actual rubbish bags as well...
